Comic books are medium-literacy tools that can transmit compelling messages at a relatively low cost to both rural and urban populations. Story Workshop comic books are based on popular radio characters, so their readership spans generations and sexes.

Our most popular comic books include Mada’s Victory, the story of two orphans who have lost their parents to AIDS; Serena is Number One; and Sankha Wekha (which means “It’s Your Choice”), a story that illustrates the consequences of the problem of “sugar daddies” who take sexual advantage of young girls by providing them with desirables.
